Pre-engineered metal self-storage building in Centerfield, Utah, aerial with the San Pitch Mountains behind

Rural Utah does not store like the Wasatch Front, and the building should not pretend it does.

My Storage Centerfield serves the Sanpete Valley trade area along the US-89 corridor in central Utah, anchored by Centerfield and Gunnison and the farm towns strung between Salina and Manti. This is agricultural country: hay, cattle, and the turkey operations Sanpete County is known for, with Yuba and Palisade reservoirs pulling boats and trailers through the valley every summer. The storage demand that profile creates looks nothing like a metro infill site.

In a market like this, tenants show up in work trucks and tow trailers. Drive-up convenience matters more than corridor density, and a building that ignores that rents slowly.

Built for drive-up: single-story buildings with wide, paved lanes let a truck and trailer pull straight to the unit door, load, and leave. No elevators, no interior corridors to fight.

Built for the rigs: a unit mix and door schedule worked for the boats, side-by-sides, and equipment that move through Sanpete in season, not just household boxes.

Built for the valley: low-profile steel buildings with standing-seam roofs sized to central Utah snow and wind loads, sited to read clearly from the highway.

Wasatch carried the project end to end. Steel system design, stamped drawings engineered to the local loads, fabrication, doors, and erection under one contract. The drone shots catch it mid-rise, trusses set and the roof going on, the part of the job most owners never see and the part that decides whether the building lasts.

Centerfield is the kind of secondary market where storage gets overlooked and underbuilt. Done right, a clean, easy-access facility on the main corridor does not just fill. It becomes the default for a whole valley.
