What we collect, and how

Contact and bid forms

The contact and bid request forms on /contact and /quote collect your name, email address, phone number, the project type, and the message or project details you write. We use Web3Forms (web3forms.com) to deliver these submissions to our inbox. Web3Forms processes the data on our behalf; review their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy-policy.

Sandra (AI chat)

Sandra is the AI chat assistant in the lower-right corner. When you message Sandra, your messages and a per-tab session ID are sent to a Cloudflare Worker we operate, which forwards them to Anthropic (Claude) so Sandra can reply. We log conversations to improve Sandra and to follow up on legitimate bid requests. If you choose to share your name, email, phone, or company through Sandra so we can follow up, that lead information is forwarded to our automation backend (n8n) and stored alongside our regular bid inquiries. Do not send confidential, sensitive, or personal information through Sandra that you would not put in a contact form.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-R970GF9E6M) to measure pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, section reads, and clicks on key elements (CTAs, chat opens). Google receives your IP address, user agent, and a randomized session ID stored in your browser’s session storage (cleared when you close the tab). We do not use Google Ads remarketing pixels, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or any other ad-retargeting tag.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare records request metadata (IP address, user agent, path, timestamp) for security, DDoS protection, and rate limiting. We do not maintain a separate access log.

Cookies and storage

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. We use browser session storage to keep a temporary session ID for analytics and to remember whether you have opened Sandra during this visit; both clear when you close the tab. Google Analytics may set its standard measurement cookies on your device.

How we use the information

• To respond to bid requests, contact form submissions, and Sandra conversations.
• To prepare and deliver design-build proposals for storage and commercial steel projects.
• To improve the website and Sandra’s replies (aggregate analytics, conversation review).
• To detect abuse, spam, and bot traffic on our forms and chat (rate limiting and CSRF protection).

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to operate the site:

• Cloudflare — hosting, edge caching, DDoS protection (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
• Web3Forms — contact form delivery (web3forms.com/privacy-policy).
• Google Analytics — usage measurement (policies.google.com/privacy).
• Anthropic — the Claude model that powers Sandra’s replies (anthropic.com/legal/privacy). Anthropic does not train on API traffic by default.
• n8n — workflow automation we use to route lead information from Sandra to our inbox.

We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wasatch Structures, our customers, or others.

Retention

Bid and contact inquiries are retained in our email and CRM for as long as the relationship is active, and afterward for business record-keeping. Sandra conversations and analytics events are retained for up to 24 months and may be deleted sooner. Cloudflare hosting logs follow Cloudflare’s standard retention.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under the CCPA, GDPR, or UK GDPR and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

Children

The site is intended for commercial real-estate developers, owners, and operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through the site, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be noted on this page.
